Our online tinnitus healing community gives you the power to heal
yourself by learning from people who have already done it
successfully…

This site will help you understand what tinnitus is, whether it's curable or not, and what you can do right now to start feeling better...

From: Dainis
W. Michel

If you are suffering, I understand, I was there too...

Doctors, audiologists, and other practitioners saying: "tinnitus is
incurable, there's nothing you can do, you just
have to learn to live with it" is just not good enough for you, just
like it
wasn't enough for me.

At the same time, claims like "3 easy steps to eliminate your
tinnitus in less than 2 months" sound too good to be true (and for the most part, are). And instead of long-term therapies designed to teach you how to live with it, wouldn't you love to learn how to manage, reduce and eliminate your tinnitus as soon as possible?

That's how I felt, and "learning to live with it" simply was not an option for me. You see, I am a composer and choral conductor, and I used to have howling tinnitus. In fact, when I came down with it, I was living in misery and on the verge of suicide. But instead of ending my life or staying stuck in
misery, I flew around the world and learned to resolve my tinnitus issue.

Tens of thousands of dollars and miles later, I partnered with a leading expert in tinnitus, and together we created a step by step, doable, proven coaching program to help you manage, reduce, and possibly eliminate your tinnitus.

...you can wind up feeling really
really
alone I know you want to be rid of your tinnitus as
easily as possible. I've heard from more than a few people that
they would cut off a limb to be rid of tinnitus. I had similar
thoughts. But with so much conflicting information out there and many
doctors just throwing up their arms and unable to help, you can wind up
feeling really really alone. Left completely alone.

You may feel you've been abandoned by the medical community, scammed by
eBook
writers, deflated by the infectous grief of fellow tinnitus sufferers,
and all you want to do is heal, to get better...

But
how can you heal? I am in a unique position to help you...right
now...starting today.

Basically,
because it got too expensive for me to keep flying around the world
meeting various practitioners, I started interviewing them via
telephone and online. I decided it makes sense to
learn from people who'd already healed themselves of tinnitus, so I
met as many people who had done that as I could.

During
my travels and especially when I started doing online interviews, I met
some amazing therapists and people. Tinnitus tends to strengthen
character, and people who've come out on the other side are really
AMAZING. Every single one made a choice. Every single one went on an
individual journey of empowerment and relief. We now call that journey
"liberation from tinnitus."

Here's our video on the incurability of tinnitus debate:

Is Tinnitus Curable?

Dainis W. Michel of CureTinnitus.org interviews Kevin Hogan, Julian Cowan Hill, Paul Tobey and Dr. Hans Greuel about the curability of tinnitus.

Go from tinnitus to liberation.

Basically, this letter presents you with a choice to start on
the
path to liberation from tinnitus and wind up grateful you had it...or
remain stuck where you are. Now I
want you to be
just as amazing as these
incredible people, who've healed themselves of one of the toughest
conditions to "cure" out there. Tinnitus is so tough to lick, in fact,
that many uninformed
people will insist that tinnitus is incurable...it can get really
really ugly...I know.

It's really unfortunate that there are therapists and medical practitioners who actually believe that tinnitus is incurable, and they only try to help you if you accept that "fact." But, you can't
argue with reason, and I want to take that head on: if there is just one person in the world who's cured tinnitus, then it's not
incurable...that's just sound logic. And guess what? Little did I know, there ARE people out there who've healed themselves. They were tough to dig up, and many don't want the attention, and there is nothing
more in the world that would bring me more joy than to add you
(anonymous, or otherwise) to the list of success stories here at
CureTinnitus.org.

"We give people with tinnitus
the

power to
heal themselves by learning

from people who have done it

successfully."

I worked with one
therapist in particular to create an online
learning platform for people to heal themselves of tinnitus. His name
is Julian Cowan Hill (R.C.S.T.), and he had tinnitus for 20 years and
though he is
partially deaf, he does not have tinnitus anymore, and he knows how to
help people "out from tinnitus." Julian and I have dug deep into
the process of healing from
tinnitus and present it to you while
offering personal assistance and the ability to ask questions regarding
your personal situation.

That's right, when you join CureTinnitus.org, you get
immediate
access to ask personal questions about your tinnitus to a master
teacher who not only healed himself of his own tinnitus, but who helps
100's of people do so...as a part of his life's mission.

The most effective way to teach this is via the web...For me, a real "light bulb" went off, when I realized
we could deliver our one-of-a-kind, in-depth information via text, PDF,
audio, and video...ALL ONLINE...

Which saves you the cost of trekking around the world

...influences tinnitus research to start studying "the
healed," as
opposed to dwelling on sickness

...helps you focus your therapy plan to give you the fastest tinnitus recovery time possible

...empowers you with tinnitus healing information that most therapists and
practitioners don't know about (that can make all the
difference in the world for your success...)

"Health is never to be attained by studying disease and thinking about disease....Medicine as a science of disease has increased disease..."
(Wallace D. Wattles)

So now I provide
online access to our eCourses and membership community that help people
heal themselves of tinnitus by learning from folks who've already done
it.

We, at CureTinnitus.org, really understand where
you are right now, and I want you to understand that the path
out from tinnitus is well-trodden.

Access interviews with experts who have already
healed
themselves of tinnitus
The
CureTinnitus.org community is unique due to the focus on "what helps,"
"what has
helped," and "what helps you." It is not a site that
guarantees a cure, or even "cures;" rather, it informs.

The personalized combination of...

Physical
therapy

Mental and emotional counseling and care

Steps
taken for personal relief by each individual

Expert
coaching

A positive and supportive community to
"let go" into (both on and offline)

...that we teach our members brings
powerful results, making CureTinnitus.org Membership an
ideal accompaniment to tinnitus therapies.

From
personal experience, I
know that tinnitus sucks. It's amazing
how many people have it, and how alone people feel with it. I still
have a tiny eety bitty bit of it left, which is why I created
CureTinnitus.org. I really like learning from people who have
already accomplished what I've set out to accomplish for myself. It
helps so very much.

I host our members only online Cure Tinnitus
Show -- and each show is deeply settling. I feel better for having
hosted
the show, our viewers get their questions answered and share their
concerns, and so the whole community is just great.

The Risks of Untreated Tinnitus...

Ignoring tinnitus leaves you at risk...Honestly,
I'm grateful and relieved that you've found this page, because it's
actually a
blessing that you have tinnitus now. Because tinnitus is like a
warning siren that forces you to get your act together before having
another kind of worse breakdown. Tinnitus may actually save your
life.

According
to Dr.
Hans Greuel from Germany, ignoring your tinnitus and learning to live
with it leaves you at risk for further medical complications.

"Tinnitus is an illness that stems from
specific risk factors, therefore, it is important to learn how to cure
it. Learning to live with it means further complications, reduction in
health, and even the risk of having a stroke."
(Dr. Hans Greuel,
Tinnitus Specialist)

The way I look at it, tinnitus is like a smoke alarm going off in your body. If you just turn off the alarm (or ignore it) without putting out the fire, well, you're bound to go down in flames. That's why we address the root causes of tinnitus and help you every step of the way. When the fire is put out, the alarm will stop. Our program is a compressed, distilled, easy to follow system that teaches you exactly what you need to do to start recovering starting today.

We help people with tinnitus heal themselves of tinnitus better,
faster, and easier because we provide the missing information...

most
doctors and

practitioners
don't know

...not because they're malicious or bad, but because they
rarely
have direct experience with actually healing from tinnitus (either
having had it themselves or having directly helped patients heal).
That's why they mistakenly assume that tinnitus is incurable, and
that's where CureTinnitus.org comes in.

Learning from people who have healed themselves of tinnitus is critical
for you because you're going to have a hard time convincing anyone who
had it (and doesn't have it anymore), that the condition is incurable.
You can't do it, because they either aren't suffering with tinnitus
anymore, or it's so low that it's not an issue for them.

To help you, we provide a roadmap to liberation
from tinnitus, plain and simple. Provided by those who've already
completed the journey.

Well being is
the
opposite of

tinnitus.
Enter into
well being and

you won't have
tinnitus anymore.

I am regularly moved to tears To help you, we provide a roadmap to
liberation from tinnitus, plain and simple.by the
messages of relief and learning sent to me by members of
CureTinnitus.org. It is your relief, your life improvement that
keeps me going. Our community is dedicated to your healing, to your

I want you to be our next success
story, and I can give you to the tools so you can be...

I
like to ask people who want to achieve certain goals, be it a financial
goal, a health goal, or any other kind of life goal: "what do you need
to do to make achieving your goal inevitable?"

You
cannot be in the dark about your goal.

You cannot
befriend and hang out with people who have no idea about
how to achieve your goal.

You
cannot waste your time with people who tell you your goal is impossible.

Instead, the following make a lot of sense...

Getting
proven strategies straight from the the people who've healed
themselves...

Being among
people who understand your pain, and can help you end it!

Finally
ending the long search and countering the bad advice from people who
can
only guess at the right approach...

Renewing faith
that you CAN heal yourself...

We
"clear the fog," of tinnitus...

Members learn how to
heal themselves by learning ...too many people are suffering
needlessly, left
alone in the dark about tinnitusfrom those who have already done it. Some
move very quickly and have an "aha moment" that causes their tinnitus
to disappear immediately. Others have paths that take a longer, but the
good thing is that relief feels GOOD!

Once you "get" and apply the
principles we teach at curetinnitus.org, you'll know what you need to
do to manage, reduce, relieve, and possibly eliminate your tinnitus. We
can't promise "the ultimate success," however, we can promise that our
path helps you feel better fast, helps you manage your situation where
you are now, and shows you a clear "roadmap" out from tinnitus and
"into" well being.

...and frankly, when
you succeed at reducing your tinnitus, when you feel the power of these
simple techniques that a quick convenient purchase can give you, you
will have a burning need to spread the word. Because too many people are
suffering needlessly, left alone in the dark about tinnitus.
3) Specific results: learning to "cope" and not "panic" about the

that just perhaps I could too. And I did get the strength to manage it

Meyerson, and Kevin Hogan
(Audio). Members can nominate experts for interviews. Basically, this
is like inviting a whole bunch of people who've healed themselves of
tinnitus (or helped others heal themselves) right into your living room
and have them tell you their stories, their trials, how much money they
spent, what worked, what didn't work for them, and what their best
advice is for you. Also, we have direct access to these folks, so if
you have a follow up question, for goodness sake, just ask!

Our lead expert Julian Cowan Hill R.C.S.T. had tinnitus for 20 years (4
of which he had trouble hearing the phone ring and was in a very bad
state), is partially deaf, and STILL healed himself of tinnitus. He has
now dedicated his life to helping you heal yourself from tinnitus too.
He calls it "letting go" of tinnitus, and it is in your best interests
to listen to every single word Julian has to say to you about
recovering from tinnitus.
though not widely known or acknowledged). You will learn what you can
do

coaching and answers your questions.

Member Case Study
#47:

In the summer of 2009, I was frantic, frustrated, and actually feeling somewhat hopeless (but
determined to move forward) about
T.

I have lived with it for 20 years (the first 5 being the worst hell, then I "progressed" to
purgatory and then years of functioning
quite well, with T on a back burner and 10-12 hours of sleep). I was so tired and confused and
didn't want to live like this into
my old age.

SO...I came across
Julian's
youtube video on T which lead me to curetinnitus.org. I am a skeptic by nature and actually very
well informed in healthcare and
related issues. TRT was helpful but I needed more pieces to the puzzle. I subscribed to a trial offer at
curetinnitus.org.

The info rang true. This
doesn't happen often. I have never joined a blog and rarely read one as they can be so toxic and
full of misinformation and hysteria.

I had nothing to lose so
I
decided to become a full member.

I feel supported and understood
with
curetinnitus.org. I appreciate the "no whining" policy, no online cult or finacial
scam issues.

My specific results were an almost immediate reduction of T, (I could
litteraly feel a shift in my
brain, which resulted in a reduction of T, which also equates to less angst and more energy = more hope. I
have had incrimenatal improvements
since joining. You have to know that I had been listening to an excellent T. autohypnosis relaxation
tape for a couple of months daily
(or nightly) and I was in a place where I was willing to heal on a deeper level.

After watching the Cure Tinnitus Video Shows, the knowlege and encouragement would settle me
internally. Also this information
needs to sink in. I replay the videos as needed and look forward to the next shows.

I am also open to
bodywork, and
am having monthly craniosacral
therapy. I respond well to it. Tinnitus is similar to many "maladies"
that require healing (depression,
addiction, ...). It takes inner resources, courage, determination, (an income definitly
helps) and support and faith. By the grace of God I have these. I do know
that many others have done it with
less.

I am also making
reasonable
changes to my life, work, letting go of a few negative hangers on, and becoming more
physically active, all with concious
thought and intentions.

I have to "take a daily
reading" on my busy self tendancies.

I can't really comment on
improving
the site. It's not an area I know
much about. I'm OK with it. Well, maybe you could add a laser beam and and poker game??

My biggest frustration on the T
liberation path was little or no information from the medical system or any
system for that matter. Over
the years I did come across people who had recovered from T, or that had it intermittantly(it they used it
as a barometer for stress).
Over that past months as a member of curetinnitus.org my old beliefs
about T are changing for the
better.

It is a leap of faith, but the improvements are undeniable and the clarity does expand.
(I couldn't have written this
statement last spring, I am so pleased and grateful)

Dainis, I am not comfortable with coming out of the T closet. My
privacy and anonymity is vital to my well being at this stage of the
game. You have a lot of courage to put yourself out there on the web.
Maybe that's a true sign of liberation.

Guess What?
Research Shows That
EVERYONE HAS
"TINNITUS..."

I discovered that, in total silence, EVERYONE HAS TINNITUS. It explains A LOT about the condition, and it explains why 10% of the population "has" it, but it's kind of an "ignored issue." It
explains the subjective nature of tinnitus. It explains why both sides of the curabilty debate can actually be seen as "right," and it also explains why you don't need to suffer any longer.

More than a few of my doctors literally laughed in my face
when I
told
them I wanted to manage, reduce, and eliminate my tinnitus...My doctors actually laughed in my face...
especially when I told them I believed it was possible. My GP actually
said "Oh ho ho, you have tinnitus, life sucks, the body has an
expiration date, and it's 40! It's only going to get worse and by the
way, you have the beginnings of a chronic liver condition. Ho ho ha."
He really said that.

Shame on him and other practitioners who continue to spread
such
life-threatening messages. Check out the research study below...

Research
Results #31:

In 1953 Heller and Bergman
performed a
simple and classic experiment.

They placed 80 tinnitus free individuals (university members) in a
sound proofed room for 5 minutes each, asking them to report on any
sounds that might be heard. The subjects thought they might be
undergoing a hearing test, but actually experienced 5 minutes of total
silence.

93% reported hearing buzzing, pulsing, whistling sounds in the
head or ears identical to those reported by tinnitus sufferers.

This
simple experiment shows almost anyone can detect background electrical
activity present in every living nerve cell in the hearing pathways as
a sound. Although some areas of the auditory system may be more active
than others, every neuron will contribute to some extent to the final
perception of tinnitus.

These electrical signals are not evidence of
damage, but compensatory activity that occurs all the time in the
auditory system of each one of us.

So, if everyone has it, the question to answer is why you hear
it
and why others don't. Are you ready to launch your new life,
your new life on the path of liberation from tinnitus? Why didn't you hear it before, and why do you

Now, obviously, personal coaching costs money, and in today's
economy, not everyone can afford it. That's why CureTinnitus.org is an online community with low monthly member dues, so we can all
benefit by pooling our resources. Most of our experts paid well into
the 10's of thousands of dollars on healing themselves, and now, due to
advances in Internet technology, you can benefit from their experience
at a fraction of the cost.

Accepting your role in
tinnitus.
Orienting to health. Tinnitus as a means of letting go. Resignation as
a path to acceptance. The importance of acceptance. Accepting
responsibility. Encouraging people. This is a tough level.

Putting your motivation to

Gaining Motivation. Channeling developing. Putting your motivation to
positive use. Making your motivation work for you.

Letting go. It's
all
about you're much better now how to handle the wobbles shit happens how
to cope in that situation. Letting go if it comes back. What to do if
it comes back. Letting go continuously.

Gaining power over
tinnitus. Getting
empowered. Empowered. Claiming your power. Feeling empowered. Gaining
empowerment. Letting tinnitus empower you. Claiming empowerment.
Turning. Gaining gratitude through empowerment. Thank the tinnitus. Sit

Tinnitus is keeping me on track. Trusting the health of tinnitus.
Gaining power.

Liberation. Liberating
others. Recognizing the health of tinnitus. Being present. Achieving
well being. It isn't possible to have tinnitus in that state.

Imagine lovingly being taken through each of those steps,Imagine lovingly being taken through

feeling
the tinnitus let up, and experiencing the amazing surge of energy that
liberation from tinnitus brings. The amazing sense of well being. A
sense of bliss that right now,
you can only yearn for...struggle
for...and we're right here by your side to ease the struggle and help
you take just the right steps.

Personally, I'm at about stage 6 in the program. So, I'm a student of the site just like you. I have stretches where I am
not
aware of my T. For me, tinnitus is a teacher, and I am learning from it. I am
learning to listen to my body better. As I progress, I refer back at these
steps, especially if I wind up feeling a bit stuck. And because of
CureTinnitus.org, it is very easy for me to apply direct techniques to
silence any tinnitus spikes. And furthermore, the spike simply has no
power to send me into a tailspin or whirlwind of confusion...because I'm
not confused anymore by my body's responses to how I treat it, and how
I respond to external and internal stressors.

What we can't
do.

Your
expectations,
the “cure,”

guarantees,

If you run your engine on high for days at
a
time without refueling or maintenance, even the best engines will
fail...The subject of guarantees is important, and it’s
interesting that “the
cure for tinnitus” lurks even in our disclaimer. Our disclaimer is
summarized by “members take 100% responsibility for their own health.”
That’s it.

Why? Because we can teach you how to be a good driver and
caretaker of your “vehicle,” your “car” “automobile,” your BODY, and we
can teach you how to maintain your car, how to obey traffic laws, and
we can advise as to a good maintenance schedule.

We can even refer you
to "mechanics" for your particular kind of “car trouble,” we can show you
how to find such "mechanics" locally, and we can offer do-it-yourself
guides. But, if you drive from coast to coast at top speed and run your
engine on high for days at a time without refueling or maintenance,
even the best engines will fail and run out of fuel.

Does that make sense?

If you've read this far, I'll reveal something pretty personal:
I had a
history of overworking myself and giving too much to others for too
little in return. I was also relentless about my career and schedule in a way that caused me a lot of personal stress. Leaving those traits behind opened me up to experiencing relationships that are fair and enabled me to progress in my career in a way that's powerful, effective, and practically "effortless." I truly believe that "letting go" of tinnitus makes you into a better person. More complete, more relaxed, and much much more effective.

Ignoring tinnitus puts you at heightened medical risk, and joining CureTinnitus.org...

While the You can access our site, right now, on a trial basis, for 1 dollar.actual value of helping people like this cannot truly be "counted" in terms of dollars, the list price of our program (along with the additions I've made recently) adds up to over $1,100.97. And, you can access it for the entry price of 1 dollar. That is why I urge you to take advantage of this offer and act now...

...We could charge a one-time fee of $997 and may in the future. However, I am so dedicated to making our program available to you, and I am so confident that you will love CureTinnitus.org membership, I've made our self-paced membership available to you for 1 dollar for one full month.

That means, you pay 1 dollar now, you get to preview the first
month
for free, and if you like the first month, let our system process your member dues. You then gain immediate access to your second
month of tinnitus guidance, and again, you only allow your payment to go
through, if you are completely satisfied with the help you're given.

Sound fair?

On our end, we are curious how this kind of generosity will be
received, and we
want to see what quality of member this kind of offer will bring us. As a result, we cannot guarantee that this offer will be available tomorrow.

I personally believe that everyone who suffers from tinnitus
should
be a member of CureTinnitus.org.

Most people
are not
going to
take

that last step
towards liberating

themselves
from tinnitus.

At this point, you are almost there. Most people are not going
to
take that last step towards liberating themselves from tinnitus. Those
of us who have, have wound up deeply grateful that we had tinnitus,
that it came into our lives, because it literally forced us to resolve
the deep issues and habits that were literally killing us and locking
us into excruciating pain. Right now, you can stay where you are,
uncertain about your next steps, riddled with anxiety over tinnitus,
and most likely losing
sleep, or, on the other side...

If you choose to join us, you can immediately learn how to experience
advantages like:

Nights of sweet sleep

The right information to liberate yourself from tinnitus

More centered and harmonious relationships

Information you can take to your doctors and help them help
you better

A community of informed people behind you all the way

Taking care of yourself

Comforting and comfortable exercises you can start doing right now

Loving yourself deeply

The ability to ask your personal questions to our master
tinnitus
liberation coach Julian Cowan Hill

Resolving past trauma

Soothing body work

Knowing where to go locally for help

And well...the program we've designed just simply FEELS
GOOD!

To the right is a “favicon” I just made for CureTinnitus.org 3.0 (well it displays to the rt in the post, but not in the activity stream…rrg!).

The idea is that the circle has both the C and the O and the “dot.” The t’s get smaller and smaller, and the faded circles over the green “o” turn the “o” into a “C” an “O” with two dots that symbolize “disappearing.”

The thing is, I kinda think the favicon looks really bad super small (check in your browser, the favicon usually appears to the left of the URL, just left of the letters http.

Do we have any designers around?

Comments, suggestions, collaboration, help?

Best,

Another option

hey, i just made an update and am pleased with the symbolism of the following favicon. basically, we have tinnitus on one side, the faded green is kind of an “unclear life” and you have this big lowercase “t.” you join curetinnitus.org you apply the 4 guidelines, you get better and better, and the t gets smaller and lighter. the image was a bit cheesy before with a bit of a “rainbow” in the background representing well being, but i found it to be a bit too eso-cheesy. i mean esoteric-cheesy. so i just took out the rainbow. however, i wanted the “exit” from tinnitus to be basically “love.” i do not know who originally said it, but i heard a qi gong master (and i could find a link to her if you like) saying “love really is the only medicine,” and i think that makes a lot of sense. so, the “exit” from tinnitus is two white hearts faded into kind of a “streaming out” image to the rt of the smallest “t.” you see that? there is also this little dot of green right in front of the “most direct” path out from tinnitus. and well, that dot is a collision with something, it is an obstacle. like all of a sudden the therapist you’ve been relying on has a personal crisis, and just is not really working for you anymore. or the physical therapist is at his/her wits end with you. OR, you simply are confronted with needing to make some real life changes in order to get well.

cto favicon as of october 24, 2011

and see, you do make those changes enveloped in love and foof, you are out from tinnitus.

so that’s what’s happening in this CureTinnitus.org logo and favicon, hope you like it and your comments are more than welcome!

Moving on to the header itself, I removed the “From Tinnitus to Liberation” tagline under the CureTinnitus.org text. I was trying to position the text a few different ways, and I know many organizations use such taglines, but when I removed it, I kind of liked how it felt.

So, it’s either “just Logo + CureTinnitus.org” like this

CureTinnitus.org Header Without Tagline

Or, it’s “Logo + CureTinnitus.org + Tagline” like this:

CureTinnitus.org Header With Larger Tagline

CureTinnitus.org Header With Smaller Tagline

and well, it just does not seem to work well to have two text elements and something round nearby, at least not in this case. so, with a third element, which is something i’ve been wanting to add to curetinnitus.org for a while is a representation of a “well being bar” the design is not right yet, because it should be divided by a diagonal plane from bottom left to top right. the bar represents “the more well being you have the less tinnitus you have, and when you do not have well being you have more tinnitus.”

We put me in a public place where people could see me and went through the process of what to do if I had a tinnitus spike. Jen B walked me through the process of “getting my power back and turning the volume down,” which is one of her specialties.

A member just asked, and we are completely transparent here at CureTinnitus.org:

http://screencast.com/t/12QAWj...ChNBk

that shows how many have come through. We have about 100 unique visits per day, 600 free subscribers, and right, now, we have between 30 and 40 paying members.

it makes it more of a “break even” kind of organization…things will and would be much easier, if we had 500 members…but we don’t right now…

we’re #1 in google for cure tinnitus, and #4 for just “tinnitus,” and people who say I’m raking in the bucks off of other peoples’ pain are so deeply clueless it’s not even funny. frankly, with the server, programming, and other fees, just paying Julian has often been a struggle.

“Tinnitus” is not showing itself, currently, to be a real “market.” It has contains aggressive, angry, impoverished, overwhelmed, and often extreme people. At one point using Google Analysis tools, I found out that people with tinnitus are essentially either rich or broke. does that surprise you? it does not surprise me.

Also, I have received quite a few desperate emails from people on the brink of taking their own lives. Should anyone be in that position, please consider calling a crisis line. That’s what they are there for. Statistics show that when people enter a suicidal state, it’s often just a matter of getting over a “hump,” and then the people go on to live normal lives. Still, I am personally not trained in suicide prevention, and the length, personal nature, and deep depression of some of these letters has sometimes left me concerned and sleepless. I now have a bit of a structure built in, where such depression is intended to be brought to appropriate crisis lines and professionals. I’ve had many emails of gratitude and joy…and as a non-therapist founder…as the coordinator of this site…I feel we have a sound, loving, heartfelt, and effective community here…

However, much of my work here is currently unpaid, and quite spiritually strenuous. Not the least of which is dealing with the rage of people I’ve come to call “Tinnitus Forum Tyrants,” who might just be “Human Embodiments of Tinnitus That SPREAD Tinnitus.”

There is a part of me that does not currently feel justly compensated for the work we are doing here…which means that every email of gratitude or voluntary donation (or members who purchase two memberships and just leave it like that in gratitude)…those things really fuel our organization and are incredibly helpful.

…as small as we are now, we are making a huge impact.

That is clear. We’re starting to be reviewed be the national tinnitus associations around the world, and eventually, we will rightfully take our place among them. I feel strongly that we deserve AT LEAST as much money in grants and donations as the American Tinnitus Association, mostly because of my approach of studying what works, what has worked for others, what heals, what helps, and NOT studying disease, pain, symptoms, etc.

That is a unique approach (oddly enough), as logical, functional, and scientifically sound as it is.

Best,

Comments Questions and Situations…

Hi Dainis,

After a short period of T-free happyness, my T (scale 4/10) came back for a few weeks (stressfull times, bought a house etc..). Did lots of relaxation exercises, stretching and yoga and now it’s gone again (scale 1/10).

I would like to ask Julian about the following:
Each time I do my relaxation or meditation exercises I can feel my upper body shift into another position. My shoulder, back- and neckmuscles calm down and relax after a few seconds of relaxation. When they do, my head immediately feels free from tension around the jaws and the back of the head. I think this means I walk around with to much muscletension all day. What can I do to keep these important muscles relaxed during the day while workig etc.

Keep up the good work!!!

Tinnitus Forum Tyrants who discount, discredit, and abuse while firmly holding onto the false belief that there is ‘nothing you can do’ about tinnitus or that ‘you just have to learn to live with it,’ or who offer compassion solely based on the underlying assumption that tinnitus is incurable, such individuals do untold damage to our world, they even hold some personal accountability for unnecessary suicides as those stricken with tinnitus go through the process of panic and anxiety (often associated with Early Onset Cases or Recently Acquired Tinnitus).

Whether it is ego, pain, trauma, psychosis, or some other underlying reason, these “Tinnitus Forum Tyrants” manipulate forum visitors into a state of helplessness and victimization. They ignore facts, reason, as well as the science behind “getting better.” Instead of helping people cope with where they are now and helping them take steps towards well being, these tyrants function as toxic magnets of hopelessness, spreading a disease of dismay to all exposed to them. Is it that misery loves company? Why are they even there, and what can be done?”

What can be done about Tinnitus Forum Tyrants who spread dismay and misery and hopelessness?

If you encounter a Tinnitus Forum Tyrant, please feel free to post here. Some Tinnitus Forum Tyrants function as kind and compassionate…SOMETIMES…but if you happen to write something that gets their goat…WATCH OUT!

Would it make sense to expose the posts of Tinnitus Forum Tyrants here or would that just cause a lot of negativity and attack here at CureTinnitus.org?

suffering from tinnitus last over 10 yrs. had been suffering from irritability and depression further intrested for treatment possible

I just wanted to share the success I am having with tinnitus treating it with low level laser light therapy. It’s really something you should talk about on your site. It’s the only thing that has worked for me. My tinnitus has gone from a 7-8 to a very livable 1-3. The laser light stimulates the nerves to heal. In my case I have some hearing loss and it is getting better too. Are you familiar with Dr. Wilden’s work in Germany? His link is http://www.dr-wilden.de or http://www.dasgesundeohr.de and http://www.lumomed.de

I am having treatment locally at an acupuncurist. There are also home kits for sale.

I have emailed back and forth with a few of his patients and they have all had success as well.

Anyway- just wanted to share this. It may help many who are suffering from tinnitus.

I haven’t seen anything on here that mentions anything about curing tinnitus. I have one of the most severe cases my doctor has ever seen. It keeps getting louder and louder. It never has really distressed me to the point that I hear others talk about but it is louder, much louder than the world around me. I can’t even go to moderately loud places or be in crowds where many people are talking…even with good ear plugs in. They keep ringing louder despite protection/ear plugs. I think that my calmness about it is due to my Zen practice but it does prevent me from going many places and doing many things. It is that bad. I have other serious health problems and am flat broke so I am wondering if you have “scholarships” for people who do not have the money?

First of all, I can’t thank you enough! It really means a lot to me that you would understand my situation and help me out like this. I can assure you I will be involved 100% and I take this very seriously and am willing to do whatever it takes to make it go away, make me not pay attention to it… whatever!

Just let me know what to do from here… you said you had to set up my account, so please let me know when you get around to doing that.

As for my question, other then the obvious of, will it ever go away? can it be cured? I always wonder, what I have to do to make it worse. I am in the studio a lot and most of the time the music is at low volume… sometimes it gets loud but not drastically. It scares me to think that something I may be overlooking could make it worse. At concerts, will ear plugs do enough? I wear ear plugs at the movies also… Basically, I know what I can do to make it not get worse, but what will actually make it worse?

Also, I am a songwriter/producer from … [personal info withheld] …

Hi, I absolutely love your site and thank you for bringing Julian to light, he is incredible!
I have had very low tinnitus for 7 months, I was a reallly anxious person before tinnitus. Very fast to go into fight or flight. Never really took it seriously enough to change.
SO NOW I am freaked, scared and very nervous about tinnitus, mainly because I feel that it is out of my control.
I have watched many videos on the site.
I don’t; know if there is any special or specific video I should be watching?
I am also depressed over the tinnitus. Every where I go I can only focus on it.
On a brighter not , I have had days where It completely goes away.
BUT I did also have pretty bad health anxiety BEFORE the tinnitus, so I imagine tinnitus is like my nervous system imploding after at least 8 years of bad adrenaline fight or flight anxiety.

MANY THANKS!
—–
Not sure right now if you are a member or not, however, I really want to compliment you on your understanding of tinnitus, where you are with it, and how you got to where you are.

You “might” be the Jen B. client that recently came on board, not sure. If so, you are in good hands and with this site, Jen, and Julian, I am quite happy to participate in your progress. Glad to have you around!

Dig up the 4 main guidelines we talk about at CureTinnitus.org, if you can’t find them let me know, and let’s keep talking about what helps you get better.

Best and good for you,
Dainis
—–
thank you so much, i appreciate your work so very much. thank you, just up tossing turning and anxious.
—–
Hi Dainis,
How can I get over feeling very scared of tinnitus. every times I hear it I go into fight or flight. Causing a very bad cycle. can you recommend anything from your site?
—–

Hi,

With all the computer mess going on, I don’t have the right version, but as a member you get this eBook:

LINK

I’ll send you the newer version later, but the clenching and relaxing exercise on p. 32 is great.

Also, if you let

http://www.curetinnitus.org/cu...s-show-19/
download completely (or download from one of these links)

LINKS

…and at about minute 67, Julian takes me through an exercise that helps you when you are having problems falling asleep.

Best,
Dainis
—–
tinnitus is a huge wake up call . i was really a nervous anxious obsessive mess. tinnitus is saying to me that my body does not like living in that state although i got very addicted to it. adrenaline..
thanks soooooooo much,

—–
Subject: Re: severely anxious over tinnitus

Yes, here is my suggestion: do your best to cuddle up, take good care of yourself, and read through Julian’s eBook. If you can, do the exercises…the better and worst list…the clenching and relaxing…the running commentary…these are very settling exercises that come from a therapist who healed himself.

Also, think about these four simple guidelines:

1) Relieving, happy, helpful body based therapy like CST or massage or…that settles you
2) Relieving, happy, loving mental/spiritual/emotional help like psychotherapy, counseling or other support work
3) Personal actions and inactions that feel great for you
4) Building a network of support around you, loving friends, good therapists, and hey…a pet or a neighbor’s pet?

So, if things get overwhelming…reach out for more help. This team is incredible: http://www.thelisteningear.net.../

Take things a step at a time…you may have a slow exit from tinnitus, a fast one, a spiky one with upheavals, we don’t know…but you’ve committed to helping yourself…you are here…you are asking for help and receiving it

Just email support, likely, won’t be enough in the long term…but once you apply all 4 guidelines in your life…you’ll literally be surrounded by loving caring support. And that can only feel good.

For motivation, check out the interviews at CureTinnitus.org, in general, people wind up grateful for having had tinnitus. It is a great gift.

Peace and smiles from Vienna,
Dainis
—–
exactly right. you are doing very very well. what soothes you? also, do send me a question or summary of your situation for Monday’s show…

sincerely,
Dainis

i really hope this works. when or if i join this(most likely when) that my tinnitus will go away. i would like to know how long it would take, like on average how long does it take, my tinnitus is brand new and i don’t want it to get worse since im still young and im sure that i will have alot of tragic emotional moments to make it worse when i get older. im thinking a little too much right now, just to draw the attention away from the noise, and its causing me to feel a little tense around the neck and shoulder area.

Due to a technical glitch, all CureTinnitus.org information is currently public for a short time. The teams at dreamhost.com and wishlistmember.com are doing a phenomenal job of tracking down a technical glitch that brought the CureTinnitus.org Membership Community website down for a number of days.

For now, even the site design is a bit different, but that’s because the correct design is causing errors.

Another issue was a hacking job done on another one of my websites, http://www.vaccine-facts.com..., and the same “user” had access to CureTinnitus.org. After setting a trap for the hacker, the Dreamhost team helped me rebuild CureTinnitus.org, and we will likely “close” the hacker trap very soon and we will either have helped stopped online crime or at least protected ourselves from it.

The damage is under control…and now it’s Wishlist Member’s turn to figure out why their software isn’t functioning at CureTinnitus.org anymore. Once they figure that out, we will go back to our membership model where guests can “get to know us,” and members can access the online community and continue to grow in their healing process.

I don’t know how long this technical glitch will be necessary, but it gives members the opportunity to access the community as usual, and it gives everyone the chance to thoroughly look behind the scenes at CureTinnitus.org to see what we are all about.

All of the Cure Tinnitus Shows are currently available for public viewing.
All of the Tinnitus Support videos are currently available for public viewing.
The Recently Acquired Tinnitus Program is available for public viewing.
The Tinnitus to Liberation Program is available for public viewing.
Our special interviews are available for public viewing.

If you have a friend you’ve been wanting to refer to CureTinnitus.org, now is the time to do it. Also, if anyone has been skeptical about our work, our programs, or our intentions…now is your chance to check us out…IN DEPTH.

We are here for you to see what we are about, and when the tech glitch is resolved, we will go back to our membership model. If you are not a member and benefit from the information, you are invited and urged to join and pay for the expertise gathered together at CureTinnitus.org. Learning to be fair to others goes a long way when you are learning to be fair to yourself, and a lot of people with tinnitus aren’t exactly in situations where they can be “fair” or even “good” to themselves.

This hacking situation and the resulting technical glitches have been expensive and time consuming for CureTinnitus.org. Your membership, donations, and honest feedback are most welcome at this time.

Get your questions in, cuz it’s first come first served!

Here’s one we’re looking to cover:

Hi, Thank you so much for this site. I often log on at night when my tinnitus is bothering me and the rest of the family is sleeping. It helps me to get things into perspective and then get back to sleep. I wonder if it would be possible to do a show, or part of a show on night-time coping strategies. Maybe I’m not alone in finding this a difficult time. I guess the loneliness of the condition peaks at night. Plus, I’ve noticed a strange anomaly; when I go off to sleep the tinnitus can seem quieter, but then if I wake up in the night I find it’s got louder again and then I get distressed. How can this happen?! Bless you both for your continued work on this site. Really really appreciate your dedication and insights. –D

hello, dainis
i have had tinnitus for just about 2 months now at first it was a semi soft non constant buzzing (small timed bursts) sound, i went to the doctor and he said it’s probably just a side effect from my last sinus infection which was in the last week of march, then 1 day after taking the medicine that was given to me, my buzzing sound went away, but i had a whole new sound in the opposite ear, now it was a constant soft low pitch ringing sound (i think in the background of the ringing sound, i heard a morse code sound aswell) i went to the doctor again and he said it should go away within a week but i waited 2 weeks and nothing it was the same sound, then i went to my “actual doctor” and she told me that in order to diagnose my tinnitus, i have to go to a nose and ear specialist, she thinks it’s because i drink WAY too much caffine (i love caffine) or because i listen to loud sounds all the time. now i met with her 3 weeks ago and i still haven’t gone to the specialist yet, (im afraid to go because im afraid they’ll tell me it’s incureable) do you think i should go ASAP or what im only bearly 17 and i really don’t want to live with this fucking sound for all my miserable life, (pardon the langauge but im very mad at myself for letting this happen too soon and too fast) now i met with this old man who had chornic tinnitus for over 10 years (one of my dads very good friends) and that he healed himself with 3 bottles of “tinni fix” over the course of 3 to 4 months, an unoffical pill that is “proven” to relief and take away tinnitus permenatly” now i really don’t what to do either take the pill or go to a specialist, please i need someone’s opinion (not family not close friends) i have really just thought about suicide, but i just don’t know i pray to god for a cure, (but i know it’ll never come, not in my life time that is) well anyway i hope you can help me, thank you and have a nice day (i now i won’t) :’(

hey,

well, suicidal thoughts are common at the outset of tinnitus, actually doing the act is something completely different. if you are ever motivated to go that far, i strongly suggest you seek help from a local or national crisis center.

i just looked up http://suicidehotlines.com/ and http://www.thelisteningear.net.../ and i’ll tell you the listening ear center in Lansing has been a real blessing in my life personally, so i recommend them highly.

now, since you are working through the issue and looking for answers, let’s leave ending your life as an option on the table, but evaluate whether it’s worth it:

1) tinnitus can be healed, i’m WAY WAY better than at onset, i’ve interviewed a good number of people who have healed themselves, and there are people who are available that can help.

So, looking at that one: sure, your docs may “say” it’s incurable, but just watch my is tinnitus curable video. If they say that, then they are simply wrong. They don’t have the facts. In a sense, you’d be killing yourself due to someone else’s ignorance.

2) you are currently in a lot of pain
Yes, you are, if you watch the interviews of people who used to have tinnitus, it’s the same story. We know how much it sucks, how much it hurts, how disorienting it can be…and we know how awesome it feels to get onto the other side of tinnitus.

Looking at that one: you could end your life due to your current pain level. Some people do that. But there are lots of people who’ve gotten through that pain to the other side, who’ve learned a whole lot about health and themselves in the process, and who literally FEEL GREAT and feel GRATEFUL for having had tinnitus.

Which group do you want to be a part of? The group that said “ahh, hurts too much, bye?” or the group that said “i can make it” and then wound up feeling BETTER THAN EVER?

3) You are young and have “this thing.”
Yes you are, and you listen to loud music and drink a lot of caffeine. Your body is already guiding you to the solution. Are you going to listen to your body or destroy your body?

4) You don’t want to take some pill
OK, are there any other options? When in crisis, we sometimes only see ONE option, when there are in fact many.

5) You pray for a cure but know it will never come
OK, if that is your stance, why bother writing to me? I don’t need to know about you then. You can go about your dealings in your own way, if you want to base your decisions on beliefs that do not reflect facts, then that is your choice. Does that make sense? The path “out” from tinnitus is a process and not “a cure,” but that path does exist and many have walked it. You don’t have to believe BS. Really. Ask yourself if it serves you.

6) You don’t want to go to a specialist
OK, which specialist do you not want to go to? If you don’t want to go to a specialist who can’t help you, that makes sense. If you don’t want to go to a specialist who CAN help you, then that is something else entirely. If that is your stance again, why bother writing to me?

Here are the guidelines we use at CureTinnitus.org

1. Build a network of support (relaxing, helpful, funny)
2. Get appropriate and relaxing body work (massage, cranio sacral, etc., find what suits you)
3. Get appropriate and relaxing counseling (psychotherapy, counseling, etc., find what suits you)
4. Do your personal relief stuff, get the rest you need, go on those walks, take time out for yourself, yes, do some stuff for yourself.

Frankly, that sounds umm…relaxing, centering, and FUN to me. I mean, you get to actually start healing from your “stuff,” you get to relax and have fun, and you start hanging out with really supportive people.

Anyway, now that I think about it, can I use your email as a post at my site (anonymously of course), because I get a lot of these kinds of emails and it would be great if the info were right there…especially if someone is thinking about suicide…you know?

You’re almost 18, but for now, I urge you to have a parent, guardian, friend, or relative help you subscribe to curetinnitus.org here:
http://www.curetinnitus.org/st...-tinnitus/

…you can scroll to the bottom of the page and there is a trial for $1 for one month. then take that month really seriously in your life. absorb the info and then see if it’s fair of you to continue on and not only pay for curetinnitus.org membership, but for the other therapies outlined in our 4 guidelines.

YOU CAN GET THROUGH THIS.

Best,
