I really appreciate what you are doing. You’ve asked for feedback, so I hope you’ll appreciate a comment on your video quality. Since you are investing a great deal of your time in these videos, why not make it pleasing to view?
A web cam is inadequate to this task. Sittin so close to the camera, when you rock forth and back, the “extreme zoom” feeling reminds one of “Wayne’s World”. The frame rate and resolution, while suitable to a video call, are really not adequate to a video course. These days, broadband allows us to enjoy a nice quality image. You probably want a different video player, get a decent camera, and mount it on a tripod a little farther away to reduce the zoom effect. A mike is also a good idea.
?Dear Joe: We are really doing the best we can. The cameras and mics are actually fine, it’s the conversion to to FLV that creates a ton of problems for us. The MOV files look and sound quite good in my opinion. Right now, since we are less than a year old, I’m following my gut instinct that “who care’s if you get the resolution to tinnitus hand written in a 1980′s Erasermate pen on a wet paper towel, as long as the information is what you need to help you get better, and it comes from folks who’ve healed themselves successfully…” But basically, you are completely correct. Upgrades and and better looking video are in the works, and others have commented on the rocking too. These are Skype calls though…do you have a better alternative? I mean, I can’t fly folks in or fly around the world (I mean, I already flew around the world on this “mission” so to speak), so the whole reason for this kind of video is that it’s web-based…which currently looks the way it does.
If you have a better alternative, please get in touch.
?Video will not play
?Plays fine on my end…requires recent Flash Player available here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
?How does one register for the course. I found the video explaining it and submitted my email address and went to the “confirmed but not registered” (or something similar) page. The promised email didn’t arrive and it wasn’t in my junk. Now I can’t find my way back to try it again in case I submitted the wrong email address.
?@David, we had a small tech glitch, and everything is now functioning properly. Please get in touch, if you need any additional assistance.
