I really appreciate what you are doing. You’ve asked for feedback, so I hope you’ll appreciate a comment on your video quality. Since you are investing a great deal of your time in these videos, why not make it pleasing to view?

A web cam is inadequate to this task. Sittin so close to the camera, when you rock forth and back, the “extreme zoom” feeling reminds one of “Wayne’s World”. The frame rate and resolution, while suitable to a video call, are really not adequate to a video course. These days, broadband allows us to enjoy a nice quality image. You probably want a different video player, get a decent camera, and mount it on a tripod a little farther away to reduce the zoom effect. A mike is also a good idea.

Dear Joe: We are really doing the best we can. The cameras and mics are actually fine, it’s the conversion to to FLV that creates a ton of problems for us. The MOV files look and sound quite good in my opinion. Right now, since we are less than a year old, I’m following my gut instinct that “who care’s if you get the resolution to tinnitus hand written in a 1980’s Erasermate pen on a wet paper towel, as long as the information is what you need to help you get better, and it comes from folks who’ve healed themselves successfully…” But basically, you are completely correct. Upgrades and and better looking video are in the works, and others have commented on the rocking too. These are Skype calls though…do you have a better alternative? I mean, I can’t fly folks in or fly around the world (I mean, I already flew around the world on this “mission” so to speak), so the whole reason for this kind of video is that it’s web-based…which currently looks the way it does.

If you have a better alternative, please get in touch.

How does one register for the course. I found the video explaining it and submitted my email address and went to the “confirmed but not registered” (or something similar) page. The promised email didn’t arrive and it wasn’t in my junk. Now I can’t find my way back to try it again in case I submitted the wrong email address.

    Hi.
Nice to see you guys fighting the good fight.
    .
    Question.
Do you offer your courses with closed caption?
I’m sorry, I’m a little deaf and have trouble following
    .
    Thanks
    Paul

wow how wonderful that would be. at this time, no. i have been wanting to have our shows and videos transcribed but would need the required funding to do so. do you know of automatic closed captioning software?

      best,

    Hello.
discovering your site and still not decided if i’m going to become a member or not.
I appreciate the amount of time and the efforts you put into it.
If i understand that making it non-free clears up a lot of unnecessary work due to the skeptical and indefectible non-positive attitude of some, i still find it a bit expensive.
My first and big question is are there a lot of videos in the course?
I think that their quality undermine the efforts you put into making these.
I Share Joe’s opinion, have a better setup, especially if the conversion degrades the initial quality.
personally i find it impossible to understand them. If the “web discussion” format is fundamental to you, why not add “subtitles”? it will allow us to turn the sound off and watch them in pleasant conditions.
I’m sure that making the course pleasant to watch will participate to the conditions necessary to a recovery in relaxation;).
Please don’t take it badly. Being French and a sound technician probably make me sound a bit arrogant but i think you’ve really got an issue here.
    Best regards

      – currently, you can join for a donation of one dollar per month.

My first and big question is are there a lot of videos in the course?
I think that their quality undermine the efforts you put into making these.

The MOV files are the originals and available for download. As technology progresses, higher and higher quality video is available online. It is the information that matters.

“i find it impossible to understand them.”
…please explain what you find impossible to understand. but then, that’s focusing on a pretty negative objective is it not? still, what would you like to understand better?

“why not add “subtitles”? it will allow us to turn the sound off and watch them in pleasant conditions.”
      — you are more than welcome to transcribe the videos and add subtitles to the videos.

“Being French and a sound technician probably make me sound a bit arrogant but i think you’ve really got an issue here.”
–thank you for your feedback, i ran professional lights and sound for a few years and am a classically trained composer — please point out the issues — which videos, which audios?

i concentrated on the information. i really barely have any tinnitus at all and tinnitus is not an issue in my life anymore. the 5 curetinnitus.org program guidelines are set up — to help — anyone. and they cannot but help.

i recommend you apply the 5 curetinnitus.org program guidelines, at least weekly, in your life for 6 months, and come back to this website. for me — i don’t care if i get the right information for my healing on a napkin written in ketchup. if it is accurate, helpful, healing information — that is what i want.

Hi there! Is there a transcript for the rest of the videos? I was able to read the one for day two, but I don’t see any others. I don’t have easy access to a computer so have to watch on my phone, which can’t play the videos. Thank you for your efforts and this site (:

it would be so wonderful to have transcripts for all of the videos 🙂

alas, we have not had the funding to create them.

i have been thinking about creating a different kind of model for financing this online community — as most of the people who visit are in dire need, and asking for money usually presents a kind of conflict.
