Tinnitus cure remedies?

I want to help a close friend who is looking for proven tinnitus cure. Remedies or treatments that have been tried by other sufferers and worked for them. Can somebody pls help?

I don’t know about a proven tinnitus cure, but I do know of someone who has had excellent results using tinnitus remedies from t-gone.com

She ended up taking the remedies for about 4 months and I know for a fact she is sleeping much better now days and is far less stressed, so the remedy for tinnitus she took really helped her.

Any Ideas On Tinnitus? Remedies or Treatments?

Okay, I’ve done some research and have asked a few people but I want to know if you guys have any advice on this.

Do you know of any ways to keep tinnitus in check?

So far, I know if you drink alcohol, it doesn’t bother you, valium is the same, and I smoke weed.
I have also heard Dramamine works.
So any other ideas?
Please help.

By the way, I’ve asked a doctor friend of mine and he said that mairijuana does help by calming your nerves.
So all you anti-marijuana people, I have a doctor telling me its okay so stop saying it is not.
You do not have a diploma from a recognized medical school.
There is no actual proven fact that marijuana smoke is addictive.
Plus, it is legal for medicinal purposes in many states. So it is not illegal.

You need to find out why you have the tinnitus. You could have a benign tumor in your inner ear canal, it’s called an accoustic neuroma. It can become very bothersome because the ringing get’s so loud and eventually your face starts to feel numb. You just need to have an MRI of your brain. Make sure they order it as a Brain IAC (which means internal auditory canal) so it includes pictures of the area in questions. Don’t go to an open MRI because the picture quality won’t be clear enough to detect these abnormalities.
As for the pot, well, I’m sure it does help, I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, but still, you need to get to the answer of why you have the problem in the first place. Good luck.

Tinnitus remedies can anyone recommend one that really works.?

It is just too sad to stand by and witness my daughter battling to cope with the ringing in her ears! The tinnitus is not the worst though, because she find it hard to get to sleep her overall health seems to be deteriating. It seems to me that because she is always so tired and up tight, she doesn’t get to sleep much and nowdays seems to pick up every sickness that is doing the rounds. Can this be resulting from her tinnitus? I am searching for a tinnitus remedies right now.

What works for one person will not work for another so I will list several strategies here. However, one that seems to provide relief long enough to sleep is white noise so you might want to invest in a white noise machine. Static will often work just as well so you can try a radio set on a static station…no music, just the static.

If your daugher’s tinnitus is untreatable, there are several things she can try to make it less bothersome:
avoid caffeine
avoid nicotine
zinc supplements may help
use a white noise machine or a ticking clock
avoid loud sounds, music and noises
exercise daily (improving her circulation can help)
avoid fatigue as it will intensify the ringing
try to ignore the ringing (easier said than done at first)
if she has a hearing loss, a hearing aid with a “tinnitus masker” may help

The susceptibility to illness would probably have no correlation to the tinnitus itself but it might to the lack of sleep. When we sleep, our bodies rebuild and without adequate rest, her resistance is impacted.

My husband has had tinnitus for years and he said it eventually becomes so much a part of you that you hardly notice it. He had a terrible time in the beginning but now it is just something that is “always there”. Good luck to your daughter and you!

Are there any home remedies that can help or ease my dads tinnitus?

His tinnitus has recently become worse and he has also suddenly lost the majority of his hearing in one ear. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

There is no home remedy or “natural” or “alternative” or “complimentary” medicine that will help. I have severe tinnitus and resultant hearing deficit. If there were any such alternative, you can bet your butt I’d be using it! He needs to go to an MD for a proper medical evaluation and then, most likely, on to an audiologist to determine whether any assistive device (hearing aid) will help.
